Boise State senior quarterback Kellen Moore has been named one of 15 semifinalists for the 2011 Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.

Moore is one of nine quarterbacks listed amongst the semifinalists.

Five finalists for the award will be announced Nov. 30, and the winner will be announced on ESPN on Dec. 8, during the 6 p.m. edition of SportsCenter. The award is voted upon by Football Bowl Subdivision head coaches and sports information directors.

Moore, who has also been named a semifinalist for the Davey O’Brien, Maxwell and Unitas Awards this season, has completed 220-of-297 passes for 2,549 yards and 31 touchdowns through nine games in 2011.

Bronco add three women’s golfers

Boise State women’s golf coach Nicole Harris Bird announced the signing of three student-athletes to National Letters of Intent.

Joining the Broncos are McKenzie Ford from McKinleyville High in McKinleyville, Calif., Samantha Martin from Torrance High in Los Angeles and Samantha Pless from Seattle’s Holy Names Academy for the 2012-13 season.

Indoor track championship tickets on sale Friday

Tickets for the 2012 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Boise State at the Idaho Center’s Jacksons Track March 9-10, go on sale Friday.

All-Session tickets cost $50 for reserved adult seats, $45 for adult general admission, $37 for senior and student reserved seats and $30 for senior and student general admission. Ticketing fees also apply.
