Four days, nine coaches, 130 high schools.

In a coordinated statewide recruiting effort dubbed the Bronco Blitz, the Boise State football coaching staff will visit every high school with a football program in the state between today and Thursday. The four day swing will see coaches log more than 4,000 collective driving miles via interstate, highway, back roads and mountain passes. They will pass through or visit an estimated 137 of the 201 cities or towns in Idaho.

The Bronco Blitz coincides with college coaches starting the spring evaluation period at high schools.

The nine full-time assistant coaches can hit the road, but head coach Bryan Harsin keeping tabs on the Blitz from Boise because head coaches are not allowed to go on the road during the spring evaluation period.

Bronco football will utilize social media to update fans of the progress around the state, utilizing photos, video and a continually updated Bronco Blitz map.
