Stockton Thunder goalkeeper Alex Stalock stopped 29-of-30 shots he faced as the Thunder downed the Idaho Steelheads 4-1 on Tuesday at CenturyLink Arena.
After a scoreless first period, Idaho took a 1-0 lead with a goal by Michael Neal at the 1:22 mark of the second period.
Garet Hunt tied it up with a goal 28 seconds later and Ian O’Connor added a pair of second-period goals to give the Thunder a 3-1 lead.
Stampede trade Devendorf for Davis
The Idaho Stampede have acquired guard Chris Davis (6 foot-3, 185 pounds) in a trade with the Reno Bighorns. Davis has been acquired in exchange for guard Eric Devendorf.
Davis averaged 6.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 15 games (two starts) this season with Reno. Davis played with the Bighorns since 2009, playing 88 games in his career in the NBA Development League (three starts). His career averages are 4.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 12.5 minutes per game.
