NEW HAVEN, Conn. —  Boise State men's tennis player Vicente Joli lost his first round singles match at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships at Yale University in New Haven, Conn., on Thursday.

Joli fell to the tournament's No. 6 seed, Andrei Daescu of Oklahoma 7-6 (2), 6-2.

Today, Joli will play in the consolation round of 16.
