Give your students the opportunity to take a field trip that might change their lives. The Idaho Press-Tribune welcomes students to take a look inside
Are your students aware of the different careers a newspaper may offer? When most students think of a newspaper, they probably think of journalists, editors, etc. The Idaho Press-Tribune hosts tours for hundreds of students and teachers throughout Canyon, Owyhee and Gem Counties. The tour will provide students with information and insight into the role of each department at the Idaho Press-Tribune and how every department works together to produce the newspaper every day. The importance of computerized technology, data systems and rapid methods of information gathering will also be highlighted. Most important, different career options at a newspaper will be exposed.
