BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for southwest Idaho where sustained winds from 30 to 40 mph are predicted with gusts up to 50 mph.

The advisory for winds out of the southeast runs to 6 p.m. Sunday and includes the cities of Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, Emmett, Meridian and Mountain Home.

Officials say the winds can make driving difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles.
