MIDDLETON — Pink fire trucks will make their Treasure Valley debut in Middleton Sunday as part of the Pink Heals Tour in support of women and cancer awareness.

The Pink Heals Tour and “Cares Enough to Wear Pink” program began in 2007 to help people battling cancer with a focus on women. The organization says 100 percent of the money donated to its chapters goes back to the public either through a local charity or directly to someone in need.

The Gem State Women on Wheels will greet the tour in Mountain Home at 9:30 a.m. The Nampa Police will join the escort to Middleton. The trucks will line up at the Middleton Fire Station at 302 East Main St. for a parade starting at noon. The parade will move down Highway 44 to Middleton Middle School at 511 West Main St. where a Pink Rally will be held from 12:15 until 4 p.m.
