CALDWELL — Modern Woodmen of America members donated almost $120,000 to residents and community organizations in Southwest Idaho, the organization announced.

Members are organized locally into 20 local chapters, two Summit Chapters and 39 youth service clubs. They conduct service projects to help the community through various volunteer programs. Examples of their community service include collecting and donating food to local food banks, beautifying a local park and helping to build homes for those less fortunate.

In all, Modern Woodmen members contributed more than 122,000 volunteer service hours in Southwest Idaho in 2013.
