BEND, Ore. — A single-vehicle crash along Highway 20 near Bend, Ore., resulted in the death of a Middleton man, Oregon State Police reported.

At about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Matthew Dreyer, 35, of Star was traveling westbound on Highway 20 when his pickup went off the side of the road. Dryer over-corrected and the pickup rolled an unknown number of times before coming to rest.

Dreyer, who was ejected and seriously injured, was taken to St. Charles Medical center in Bend.

His passenger, Christopher Johanson, 36, of Middleton was partially ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

Oregon State Police is continuing its investigation into the cause of the crash.
