Officers bust suspected drug house, remove children from home

BOISE - After tips from citizens and Boise Police patrol officers working the area, Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officers served a search warrant on a suspected drug house Monday.
Arrested was Miranda M. Henslee, 27, of Boise, on charges of possession methamphetamine , possession of marijuana and possession drug paraphernalia. Officers also arrested Robert D. Kinney, 34, of Garden City, on charges of possession marijuana and frequenting a place where drugs are used.
After several months of investigation, officers found enough evidence to serve a search warrant on a suspected drug house on the 7100 block of West Poplar Drive. Inside the home, officers found methamphetamine, marijuana, pipes and a syringe.
Both Henslee and Kinney were taken to the Ada County Jail. Two children, both under the age of 9, were also inside the home. The children were placed in the custody of the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare.
