BOISE - Greek soprano Eleni Calenos has captured critics and audiences' admiration for the warmth, clarity and beauty of her voice in her young career. Calenos joins Opera Idaho this weekend for its presentation of Giacomo Puccini's classic opera, "La bohème" tonight and Sunday afternoon at the historic Egyptian Theatre.
Calenos received rave reviews for her performance as Cio-Cio-San in Opera Idaho's "Madama Butterfly" and has reprised both roles nationwide.
