Summary: Lots of Easter events all around valley

Make sure the kids don't miss a chance for an egg hunt or other Easter fun this weekend.

*; Caldwell's Easter Egg Scramble starts at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Park. The scramble is for children ages 4-12. Kids 3 and under can visit with the Easter Bunny while the older kids egg hunt.

*; Nampa will hold an Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. today in Skyview Park. Children up to 10 years old can participate in several divisions.

*; Melba will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt today at 10 a.m. on the Melba Elementary School playground. Prizes and the Easter Bunny will be available. Children up through third grade can participate.

*; The Notus Community Easter Egg Hunt will be at 10 a.m. today on the elementary school front lawn. Children up through sixth grade can take part. The egg hunt will include a visit from the Easter Bunny.

*; Meridian will hold its Community Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to noon today in Bear Creek Park at 2400 S. Stoddard. Children up to 12 can participate.

*; The Nampa Rec Center will hold a pool Easter Egg Hunt starting at 2 p.m. today. Admission is a day pass rate, and participants should bring a waterproof bag.

*; Also in Nampa will be a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt for older children. The hunt starts today at 9 p.m. at Lakeview Park and is for children ages 13-17. It costs $3 to participate. Kids taking part should bring flashlights and meet in the playground parking lot.

*; Eagle will host a pancake breakfast and egg hunt from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Woodriver Cellars, 3705 Highway 16. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. The breakfast will include wines and mimosas, along with an egg hunt for children.

*; Bowmont will hold a Kids Easter Extravaganza from 1 to 3 p.m. today. The event will be at the Bowmont Community Church on 3rd Avenue and will include crafts, snacks, an egg hunt and a petting zoo as well as a retelling of the Easter story.

*; The Eagles Lodge at 118 11th Ave. N. in Nampa will host a Kids Easter Party from 1 to 4 p.m. today. Admission is free and the party includes food, candy, egg decorating and a coloring contest.
