Benjamin Ray Clements, 34, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009, in Caldwell, Idaho, from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at the Caldwell LDS Fifth Ward Chapel, 11792 Linden Road, Caldwell. A viewing will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the Linden Road Church and again from 1 to 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Arrangements are being provided by the Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 467-7300
Ben was born on July 29, 1974, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Gary E. and Vivian Echo Morgan Clements.
He graduated from Sugar Salem High School and attended Weber State and Boise State University.
Ben was an Eagle Scout and when he was 19 years old, he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the New York, Syracuse Mission. He married Jennifer Doty, May 1, 2001, in Boise and was sealed a year later in the Boise Idaho LDS Tempel. He worked for the Idaho State Police Department for 10 years as a computer programmer.
Ben loved working with kids in youth programs such as Scouting. He loved the outdoors and camping. He made being with his family and close friends his top priority and loved spending time with them.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; three children, Charleen, Abigail and Jacob, his parents; brothers and sisters, Douglas, Michael (Cindy), Vicki (Jeff) Murri, David (Joanna), Mark (Shelbi), Tony (Remy), Julie (David) Nickel, Amy (Bryan) Merrell, Richard (Joey) and Christina Clements.
