CALDWELL — Dancers interested in being part of the Eugene Ballet’s holiday tradition “Nutcracker” will have an opportunity to audition on Thursday, Aug. 23. Note that this is an earlier audition date than in past years.

The auditions will be held in Jewett Auditorium on the campus of The College of Idaho.

Danielle Tolmie from Eugene Ballet will conduct the auditions. She will arrive 30 minutes prior to the first auditions to answer questions, provide registration forms, and numbers to the children, if necessary. Caldwell fine Arts will provide helpers to collect a $5 registration fee. The fee can be paid in cash or by check to Eugene Ballet Company. It helps cover the cost of travel expenses for the audition.

Ballet master Jennifer (Martin) Amy-Cordero says that Eugene Ballet usually accepts between 4 and 8 waltz ladies, 6 to 12 party children, 6 to 8 lady bugs, 6 to 12 angels and 6 to 12 baby mice.

Aug. 23 auditions will be held according to the

following schedule:
