The Chorale celebrates Felix Mendelssohn’s 200^th birthday. Under the direction of Dr. James Jirak the Chorale will perform Mendelssohn’s “Magnificat,” a composition written when the composer was just 13-years-old. The program also includes Mendelssohn’s beautiful “Psalm 42,” which he wrote during his honeymoon. The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 6 at Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene; and at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 8 at the Cathedral of the Rockies.
