Boise State has added two more opponents to future football schedules with the additions of Connecticut and Louisiana-Lafayette to home-and-home series.
Boise State plays UConn and Louisiana-Lafayette on back-to-back weeks in 2014, following the Broncos’ season opener against Ole Miss in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff in Atlanta on Aug. 28.
The Broncos play in East Hartford, Conn., on Sept. 13, 2014, then return to Bronco Stadium to host Louisiana Lafayette on Sept. 20.
Boise State plays at Lafayette, La., on Sept. 3, 2016 and UConn will play in Boise on Sept. 6, 2018.
Boise State and UConn will exchange game guarantees of $250,000. Boise State will pay Louisiana-Lafayette a game guarantee of $250,000, while ULL will pay a guarantee of $200,000.
Louisiana at Lafayette, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, went 9-4 in 2011 and 2012.
UConn won the Big East Conference and lost in the Fiesta Bowl in 2010 to finish with an 8-5 record. The Huskies have went 5-7 the past two seasons, including 3-4 and 2-5 marks in the Big East in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
