Boise State coach Chris Petersen wrapped up his weekly news conference just a bit ago, so check out the audio above.

A few highlights:

Petersen said the bye week was productive, as each coach was able to go out on the road and recruit. It also came at a good time with the Broncos coming off a physical game against Air Force.

Though senior Chase Baker is not on the latest depth chart, Petersen said he expects him to play Saturday at UNLV barring any unforeseen circumstances. There aren't any other new injuries at this time.

Petersen likes the way UNLV has run the ball lately. The Rebels had 244 yards on the ground in a win Saturday over Colorado State.

Afterward, a few of us print media folks were able to ask him about the Big East. He said he was not present at the meeting Thursday in Boise between the school and the conference. He mentioned that he wasn't keen on being there anyway, since he has plenty to worry about at the moment.
