Boise State's home opener vs. Tennessee-Martin on Sept. 7 will kick off at 1p.m. and won't be available on television.
It was announced Friday by the Mountain West Conference and ESPN that the game will be broadcast exclusively online at ESPN3.com. The agreement between Boise State and ESPN allows for up to two games to be aired online on ESPN3 each season.
It's possible that one of Broncos' other remaining home game could also be picked up for ESPN3, most likely vs. Southern Miss on Sept. 28.
The only two other games still without a start time or television information are home games against Wyoming on No. 16 and against New Mexico on Nov. 30. All three games will air on the ESPN family of networks, with only one of them possible for an online broadcast on ESPN3.
ESPN3 is not available to all internet subscribers, which figures to be a controversial topic in the coming days. CableOne is among those who offer the service while CenturyLink does not.
The 1 p.m. start time is the first day game scheduled for Boise State this fall. The earliest start time for the other eight known games is 5:30 p.m.
