Boise State announced today that it had been approached by the Big East to leave the Mountain West for the conference this year instead of in 2013, but decided to remain in the MWC for the 2012 season.

The University of Tennessee-Martin, an FCS team, posted that it will play Boise State in 2013 on its future schedules today.
The game, slated for Sept. 21, 2013 at Bronco Stadium can be seen here. A UTM official confirmed the scheduling of the game, though a Boise State official said "We've been talking to several schools about future games but nothing to confirm at this time."

The Boise State football team got its second commitment for the 2013 class Friday, and like the first, he's from Fruitland High.
With linebacker Joey Martarano already on board, the Grizzlies' Alec Dhaenens was offered by the Broncos and gave a verbal commitment.
