Just wanted to pass along a couple of stories from the Times-News in Twin Falls on opponents of local teams in this weekend's state quarterfinals.

The first is on Nampa's opponent in the 4A quarterfinals, Twin Falls. The Bruins haven't made it this far, since winning the 5A state championship in 2004. A new frontier

I tried to find something on Middleton's opponent Sandpoint, but was unable to come up with anything. If I find something, I'll be sure to post it on here.

Also, be sure to check back here tonight. I'll be in Twin Falls for the Bulldogs' game against the Bruins, which starts at 7 p.m. I'm not sure what the press box configuration is like at Twin Falls High School. But assuming I am able to set up my laptop in there, I plan on providing live updates from the game on this blog.
