Archuleta was the "American Idol" runner-up to David Cook last season, and he struck a major chord with young women around the country. Death Cab for Cutie, Cold War Kids and Ra Ra Riot are playing the Morrison Center April 25.

Quite awhile ago, I wrote in my column that a Rascal Flatts/Jessica Simpson show was rumored for the Idaho Center in February, but I could never get anyone to confirm the date. Today, it was announced that the tour will stop in Nampa on Feb. 25. Tickets go on sale for $51.75 and $67 at 10 a.m. Jan. 17 through IC Tickets.
