If you have kids from 9-16 years old you ought to sign them up to be part of the 8th Annual Scooter's Hunting Camp on May 2. It's a blast. It's easily worth $200, but is absolutely free. It's limited to the first 225 kids so you better hurry and get them signed up.

The first time I went I took a kid and I thought I would be bored. Boy was I wrong. I enjoyed the seminars more than the kids. Since then I've helped as an instructor. This will be my 3rd year and I love it.

The kids learn how to shoot clay pigeons, black powders, bow and arrows, .22's, sharpen knives, clean rifles and survival skills. In between classes pro-staffers for various outdoor companies put on turkey hunting, elk calling, etc. Call 365-3730 or 861-8409 for more details. See ya there.
