Boise State leads 24-7 at the half, scoring twice in the last minute of the first half, but it isn't all good for the Broncos.

San Jose State's rushing defense came into the game 118th nationally in rush defense (259.8 ypg), but the Spartans look completely different today, giving up just 8 net yards on the ground thus far. Jeremy Avery in particular has had a tough time, rushing seven times for minus-4 yards.

Matt Kaiserman leads with 12 yards on four carries. Kellen Moore has thrown for 221 yards. As long as the Broncos have a decent lead, don't expect them to abandon the rush.
