Ada County woman charged with lewd conduct with minor

ADA COUNTY — An Ada County woman is in jail after being arrested on charges of lewd conduct with a minor under 16. Ada County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Andrea Dearden said Health and Welfare officials contacted investigators after receiving a tip about a consensual relationship between Sara Ann Murphy, 20, and a 15-year-old girl. The family was aware of the relationship and Murphy was living in the same home as the teenager, Dearden said.

Murphy turned herself in to police Wednesday after a warrant was issued for her arrest. She is being held in the Ada CountyJail.
