CWI gets $1 million from Albertson Foundation campaign

NAMPA - The College of Western Idaho will distribute $1 million in targeted scholarships to its students during the upcoming year as part of the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation's "Go On" campaign announced Monday. CWI will grant scholarships to qualified students wishing to enter CWI undergraduate programs.

With student enrollment in credit courses at CWI tripling last semester and strong registration already underway for the upcoming spring semester, the scholarships are coming at a critical time. Approximately 66 percent of students currently attending classes at CWI sought some sort of financial aid.
