BOISE — A state Charter School Commission official Wednesday corrected comments she attributed to Nampa Classical Academy board member Erik Makrush.
Idaho Public Charter School Commission program manager Tamara Baysinger had said Makrush told the Charter Commission board in a meeting last week that Victory Charter School board chair Leslie Mauldin had agreed for her board to train the Nampa Classical Academy board. But Makrush said only that he asked Mauldin if his board could meet with her board to consult about the best ways to operate charter schools.
"Please note that, as Mr. Makrush states, his exact quote from the meeting does not state that Victory committed to provide board training to NCA," Baysinger wrote in an e-mail to Charter Commission members Wednesday.
