Caldwell deputy fire chief placed on administrative leave

Caldwell Deputy Fire Chief and Fire Marshal Doug Brown has been placed on paid administrative leave, officials confirmed today in response to a public records request.

Brown has been employed by the Caldwell Fire Department since March 13, 2000.

Brown did not immediately return phone messages requesting comment.
