Broncos 15th at Regionals

EUGENE, Ore. — The Boise State men's cross country team finished its season on Saturday with a 15th-place finish at the NCAA West Regional Championship.
The Broncos scored 443 points in the 10-kilometer race. Jeff Howard paced the Broncos with a time of 32 minutes, 4.23 seconds, good for 54th place. Junior teammate Sawyer Bosch was less than a minute behind him with a time of 32:59.50 in 94th place.
Finishing at nearly the same time were BSU juniors Scott Foley and Kevin Higgs, who placed 97th and 98th, respectively. Foley clocked a time of 33:06.7 seconds, while Nampa High graduate Higgs ran the race in 33:07.31.
The Broncos' lone women's competitor, Shannon Porter, finished in 101st place out of 184 runners.
Porter clocked a time of 22:59.35 seconds over the women's 6K course.
