Creekside Gardens anniversary tea planned
NAMPA — A 60th Anniversary Tea for Creekside Gardens will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. Contact Nita, 467-4398, for free registration and directions. And plan to bring a friend.
Ladies Golf Association names weekly winners
CALDWELL — The May 19 golf event at Fairview Golf Course produced these winners: Dona Wood, Janice Talbot, Shirley Humphrey and Lil Anderson for morning play of the day, guess your score. Terri Kelley was the winner in the evening group for guess your score.
At Purple Sage Golf Course on May 21, morning winners for the play of the day, low putts included: Jackie Inglis, Debbie McPherson, Gretchen McGee, Janice Talbot, and Terri Kawahara. Nancy Garrett and Glenda Scroggins were named evening (blind draw) winners.
SWIBA meets in Nampa Thursday
NAMPA — A Southwestern Idaho Birders Association meeting is at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge. Guest speaker and topic will be Bruce Haak on merlins.
Owyhee gem society meeting announced

CALDWELL — The monthly meeting of U.S. Coast Guard Flotilla 11-04 is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Caldwell Elks Lodge, 1045 N. Kimball Ave.
Early morning Kiwanis group meets Tuesday
NAMPA — Treasure Valley Kiwanis Club meets at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at Le Barons Honkers Café in Downtown Nampa. Bernice Medina and Jessica Thornton, students at Skyview High School who attended the Key Leader Camp in Cascade last month, will be the speakers. The public is invited to attend.
